Armed with the objective for participants to take steps to build successful interpersonal relationships, IronWill 2017 brought Learnings via SKITS & Games supported by Energetic & Caring Befrienders to our campers.
Children are intrinsically drawn to play and learn through such experiences. In the Children Holiday Camp this year, a variety of activities are centered on drama strategies for children explore and establish relationships between different characters, understand different types of situations and come up with numerous ideas to solve problems which arise in these situations.
We are so happy and honoured to have 100 overs of like-minded people like you from all over the world, of different races joining us on Saturday, 18 November 2017! It was not just a typical cleanup activity as every piece of plastic that we picked up may indirectly save a live.
Blossom Youth Excos planned and executed the project with the aim to raise awareness on the adverse effects of plastic waste and promoting kindness to the environment. Our environment needs our help to kickstart its healing process. We can take achievable actions to save our environment, in the process indirectly saving ourselves from the negative effects of a polluted environment.
An initiative fronted by Blossom World Society’s youth volunteers in collaboration with volunteers from Zhenghua Community Club Youth Executive Committee, Zhenghua Senja RC and Zhenghua- Senja View RC, we will go to selected rental units (Thanks Fei Yue Senior Activity Centre (Senja) for assisting in identifying the units needed for this initiative) to do some cleaning, painting and befriending work!

We go through another developmental milestone, that is witnessing the new members of the executive committee (Exco) roles committing themselves to be part of the committee to plan and execute events to engage youths.
Youth volunteers are presented with the opportunity to experience interactions up close with the elderly to show their appreciation towards the care, concern and proper values bestowed upon them by the older generation.
Your radiant smile and sincere passion influenced many people. We are honoured and privileged to have all of you as our volunteers. Many have told us that our volunteers seem different from others and this is the reason why. Thank you all!
