#SGUnited - Spread Love & Care

With Singapore moving up to code Orange with the COVID-19 situation, we got to witness the many different sides of humanities and some were incredibly touching. For example, some locals displayed generosity by giving out masks at MRT stations despite the limited amount of masks that were available on the market. Another example is a viral post about neighbours in Punggol sharing their hygiene products with one another.

Spreading love and care through the community is what we need during such times of crisis. And it is crucial that we do not overlook any of our vulnerable groups. This is because unlike the general population, our vulnerable groups are equipped with lesser resources (e.g. lesser money, weaker bodies) to fight the COVID-19 and our help would make a huge difference.

By helping others, we are essentially helping ourselves because all these actions will help to reduce the chances of the virus being spread. At the end of the day, we all have the same goal which is for this COVID-19 situation to die out.
