Hari Raya Distribution 2020

 

In the past years, Blossom World has organized festive goodie bag distribution twice a year during Chinese New Year and Ramadan. However, due to the current situation, we have suspended events which involve physical interaction between volunteers and beneficiaries. But not to worry, we will make arrangements to deliver our goodie bags to our beneficiaries' doorstep. As for cash donations (festive packet), we delivered it personally to them to help them get through this Covid-19 today.

In case you are wondering:

  • *Most of them are elderly who are living alone. As most of them might not be adept at withdrawing cash from ATMs, bank transfer is not a feasible method to deliver the donations to them.

  • *Safe distancing measures will be observed when we deliver cash donations.

We really appreciate Mr Ong, the President of Blossom World for driving us around to ensure that we minimise our time spent outdoors and deliver cash donations (the Festive packet) swiftly to our beneficiaries located island-wide! Necessary precautions like safe distancing are also taken during this heartwarming operation.


We have made arrangements for a commercial delivery man to help to deliver the goodie bags to our 20 low-income families on 17 May 2020 Sunday. It’s really great to receive his help to deliver the goodie bags door to door for Blossom World amidst the Circuit Breaker measures.
