Outing x Doing good x Having fun = 🎉 Project MERCI Elderly Escapade! 🎉

Last year we went to Gardens by the Bay, and this year we are going to the seas! We are bringing a total of 80 seniors to S.E.A. Aquarium and we would like to have you join in this meaningful day filled with fun, joy and laughter as experienced from last year’s outing.

"Project M.E.R.C.I., which stands for 'Monthly Experience in Reaching out to Communities through Initiatives by Youth,' is a monthly engagement program led by our youth project committee under Blossom World Society.

We are planning an extraordinary outing alongside seniors to a local attraction, i.e., SEA Aquarium, where the seniors will have the chance to explore and discover beyond their daily activities.

Be part of this heartwarming initiative and contribute to building intergenerational bonds. Your enthusiasm and compassion will make a significant difference in the lives of our seniors. Let's make the upcoming SEA Aquarium excursion a truly magical experience for everyone involved!"

The Volunteer Role: Befriend the elderly and care for their safety

Who We're Looking For Youth: Aged 15 to 26

Event Date, Time : 18 May 2024, Saturday, 8am to 1pm 

Volunteer Training and Briefing: 11 May 2024, Saturday

Attire: Blue Kindness T-shirt, long pants, and covered shoes

Are you between 15 - 26 years old? Are you an amazing and inspiring individual? Then you need somewhere to flex your shine!! Let us introduce you to Project MERCI where amazing and inspiring youths like you, connect with wise and chirpy seniors with activities to keep both parties active and in good health (and spirit)! 🙌🙌🙌🙌

Project MERCI is a regular engagement with seniors at a senior activity centre. Activities are planned by youths like you! At project MERCI, you get the opportunity to craft activities, stand in the spotlight, meet people from all walks of life (young, old, studying, retired etc) and more!

Date: 15 June 2024 (Saturday)

Time: 9 am to 11:30am

Location: CCSS @ Circuit

Attire: Blue Kindness T-shirt, long pants, and covered shoes
